The first thing you should know about Caprice is that she could be considered...eccentric.
Of course upon hearing this Caprice takes great pride in herself; she delights in being seen as so deliriously, unintentionally weird. With her pet rats on her shoulders Caprice will strut proudly and loudly through the hallway, enjoying certain stares or the piercing glares of the teachers. She revels in any sort of attention - whether good, or bad.
Known as a ruffled, unruly young girl who acts before she thinks, though many may see Caprice as rude, or disruptive - in which she honestly can be - Caprice doesn't mean to be harmful. Opinionated and passionate, Caprice will stick up furiously for what she believes in. Anyone who dares to be her friend and finds company in her abrupt nature will also discover that she can be dedicated and hard-working...if only when it involves something she's interested in.
Her sharp tongue and fiery nature are what Caprice is mostly known for; and, truthfully, she doesn't respect authority all that much. When caught up in her own ideas Caprice can be very hard to sway, and she's even been known to bicker or contradict teachers. She finds it hard to accept her losses, and her pride can make her a rather unforgiving person at times.
You might think, after all this, that Caprice is rough around the edges and is always ready for a debate; which, while true, that isn't all there is to this girl. Known to be incredibly focused and alert when it comes to studying the things she loves, Caprice hates failing even her hated subjects (such as potions.) Even a simple failure is enough to frustrate her, and to feel inadequate with herself. She also has an unusually gentle side, that mostly being seen with her rats; she coddles them, sneaks them into classes and the cafeteria and - you guessed it - is always willing to debate with someone should they question if her rats should be with her during school hours. Her three rats - Bion, Pell and Jack - are her pride and joy, and she'll gush to anybody she sees about them.
Though Caprice doesn't play by the books, and has been known to be both reckless and confrontational, she cares deeply for those she loves and is always willing to stick up for her beliefs, even if proven wrong. Some might see her as an obscene, unruly child who should correct herself and know her place; others may find that, while sharp-edged and often times difficult to talk to, Caprice is a very genuine, honest girl who only wants to be herself, and doesn't see the point in not voicing her opinions and sticking up for what she believes in.
With a fashion sense drawn strongly from the bohemian style, Caprice loves non-conventional clothing, little trinkets, hair clips, scarfs and patterned blouses. When not in her usual Hogwarts school uniform she's often seen in rather flamboyant colors and donning bracelets, headbands and other bits and pieces of jewelry. She loves dressing up and messing with her dark hair; apart from fashion she's addicted to snacking on sugary sweets. She's often known to skip dinner and go straight for the jelly and cake. She enjoys thrill-seeking; mundane activities, such as writing essays and long lectures, bore her; but classes involving magical beasts, new spells and particularly quidditch are enough to fully capture her interest. She loves the feeling of adrenaline and is always seeking a new thrill.
Above all Caprice is unashamedly herself, and she takes joy in simply being who she wants to be, and doing whatever the heck she wants.

History:
Caprice Wildgrube was born and raised in a rather conservative home; her parents, both a pure-blood witch and wizard, were also rather reserved about letting their daughter out into the quickly modernizing world. Her father could be a control freak, and her mother just desperately wanted for her daughter to succeed in life, and to uphold her family image and make them proud. As such growing up she didn't have that much experience with the outside world. Instead her father filled her mind with studying. She grew to hate his boring lectures; she longed to explore the muggle world, or just do something to escape her mundane lifestyle. Instead her mother and father forced upon her their ambitions and beliefs for her life.
The time came however when her parents had to let her go, and sent her off to Hogwarts. For the first time in a long while Caprice escaped her parents and discovered all that she had been missing out on; loud music, parties, delicious chocolates and epic movie sagas that she just couldn't get enough of! The magic at first was overwhelming - she'd learned all about spells at home, but she'd never been allowed to try it for herself! But Caprice quickly adapted and before she knew it she was having the time of her life.
She developed a taste for pop music, and some heavy rock. She found herself leaning more towards action and fantasy movies, and she loved epic movie sagas stretching many films. Not only that but Hogwarts had a fun side too! When they weren't lecturing you on boring potions you could be outside with magical beasts, or casting spells on your friends. It was as if Caprice had found her place in the world; she was allowed to do what she wanted when she wanted, and her overbearing parents could do nothing about it.
This came with some...downsides, however. Due to the suffocating control of her parents her unruly, wild side could often go a bit too far. She developed an obsessive fixation with cooking; at home, her mother would only make her plain, healthy meals. Curious about trying something different, Caprice is not afraid to mix any weird item up and try whatever comes out. Once she tried to microwave a block of chocolate in popcorn, in the vain hope of creating chocolate popcorn. Another time she made a pancake, then slapped a slab of butter right in the middle and rolled the pancake right around it. For some reason she finds these atrocious creations delicious. Maybe it's just the thought of doing something stupid - something her parents would no doubt scold her for - and knowing they will never find out about it.
Her affectionate relationships are strained. While she does love her parents, Caprice is equally frustrated with them; she studies hard and gets good grades - that's one thing she does live up to - and still it isn't good enough. Though she knows they only want best for her, their suffocating attempts at controlling her life only seem to poison their relationship even further.
